MechCommander 2 is a strategy game in real time, that lets you experience a fantastic game throughout thiry campaigns. You have just one mission in this game: to retake the planet Port Arthur.
The first thing you must do in MechCommander 2 is to collect, manage and administer the natural resources of the area, but never forgetting at any time to put into practice your military strategies to defend your base from possible attacks. Once you have established your camp, you can advance in the game playing the part of a MechCommander, in charge of a troop of up to 24 Mechs.
Each of the Mechs, also known as MechWarriors, has their own identity, including different combat skills that increase as the game advances. In MechCommander 2 you can follow the campaign, including a range of missions given to you with all the feelings of taking part in an authentic war.
